According to the current restaurant's own About page, Bodega Bistro was a Northern Vietnamese restaurant in San Francisco's Tenderloin district, run by Matthew Ho's family from 2003 until the family closed it in 2017. Yelp's listing for the original Bodega Bistro address on Larkin Street, updated in June 2026, still marks that earlier location as permanently closed, confirming the business operates today only under its new name and address.
