What happened after Food Paradise?
Bakn appeared on the Food Paradise episode 'All You Can Meat' (S17E6), an episode focused on restaurants built around large portions of smoked and grilled meat. The restaurant's name suggested a bacon-forward menu concept as its specialty. Bakn operated at 335 East Main Street in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, a small borough west of Pittsburgh. Google's listing for the business was marked permanently closed in a 2026-09-08 check. A check of the business's website, eatbakn.com, on 2026-09-08 returned no response (HTTP status 0), consistent with Google's closed listing. No current social media presence or news coverage was found describing a reopening, relocation, or new ownership for the restaurant. No newer, dated source describing the business as open was found.
