What happened after Food Paradise?
On Travel Channel's "Food Paradise" (season 4, 2013), Meat & Potatoes was featured for its steak-forward gastropub menu, paired with a from-scratch charcuterie program and a well-regarded cocktail list. The restaurant operates on Penn Avenue in downtown Pittsburgh's Cultural District and includes a dedicated Rib Room, and has built a following for both its dinner menu and its weekend brunch. According to the restaurant's website, checked 2026-09-08, a homepage post dated 2026-08-14 was still displayed, and the site's own navigation referred to "Our Restaurants" in the plural, indicating the operator now runs more than one property under the same company. The page also offered active online ordering for takeout and delivery, both consistent with continued operation under the same name. No indication of a change in ownership, name, or address was found in the sources reviewed for this update.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
