What happened after Food Paradise?
Bandito Latin Kitchen & Cantina appeared on Food Paradise's Flavor Fiesta! episode (S16E5), which highlighted the restaurant's Latin American-inspired dishes, with a heavy emphasis on Mexican flavors, alongside a creative cocktail program. The restaurant opened in the summer of 2017 inside a custom-built structure within the Hughes Center complex on West Flamingo Road in Las Vegas, Nevada, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The Review-Journal reported the restaurant closed effective June 9, 2019, quoting the owner's statement that they had made "the difficult decision to close" after two years of serving guests without a surrounding neighborhood to draw on. A Yelp listing for the business, updated July 2026, still marked it closed, and Google's listing marked it permanently closed as of a 2026-09-08 check.
