What happened after Man v. Food?
The same Nashville episode had Casey Webb face what the show called his hottest challenge yet: three jumbo chicken tenders smothered in a Carolina Reaper-infused sauce at Big Shake's Hot Chicken & Fish, according to the episode's cast listing. Owner Shawn "Big Shake" Davis, who first drew attention on Shark Tank in 2011 with a shrimp burger, appeared in the segment, per Williamson Source's later reporting on the chain. Williamson Source reported on February 16, 2024 that the original Nashville Gulch location on 11th Avenue North is now marked permanently closed, and that the Franklin, Tennessee location had also shut down, with the owners citing family reasons in a newsletter to customers. A Columbia, Tennessee franchise location continues operating under different owners, per the same report.
