What happened after Food Paradise?
Travel Channel's Food Paradise featured Boilermaker in its "Best In Chow" episode, a neighborhood bar in Manhattan's East Village built around an industrial-styled room serving burgers, wings and craft beer alongside cocktails. our records initially matched this business to an unrelated entity, the Boilermaker Road Race's corporate office in Utica, New York; further research located the actual bar at 13 First Avenue near First Street. A Yelp listing for that address, updated in June 2026, marked Boilermaker as closed. The bar's Facebook and Instagram pages remained visible online but carried no dated update on current operating status, and a hospitality-group portfolio page listed Boilermaker among its venues without a posted closure or reopening date. A Seamless delivery listing for the address also remained online, though it carried no visible update date to compare against the Yelp closure notice.
