Casey Webb's Newport stop was Brick Alley Pub & Restaurant, a Thames Street pub-restaurant that its own website says has been part of the city's dining scene for more than 40 years. He tried the Portuguese Littlenecks, a soup of local littleneck clams and sliced Portuguese chouriço sausage with green peppers and onions, sautéed in a garlic-butter broth with white wine, clam juice, and crushed red pepper, then garnished with chopped bell peppers, cilantro, and lemon. This was a tasting stop rather than a timed challenge. The restaurant's official website remains active with online ordering, a reservation system, and event booking for private parties; the site also displays several customer reviews praising the food and atmosphere, and an embedded reservation widget defaults to a July 2026 date.
