What happened after Food Paradise?

Food Paradise (Travel Channel) featured the Busy Bee Cafe, a soul food restaurant on what is now Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Atlanta, in its 2013 episode "Fried Chicken Paradise" (S4E15, aired 2013). According to Wikipedia, the restaurant was established in 1947 by Lucy Jackson and became a Civil Rights-era gathering place hosting leaders including Martin Luther King Jr. and Hosea Williams; the James Beard Foundation named it one of America's Classics in 2022. Atlanta Magazine reported on 2025-04-24 that the original Vine City location would keep operating for takeout and catering as the business added a second, larger restaurant at Atlantic Station, and a Yelp listing for the Martin Luther King Jr. Drive address, updated 2026-08, lists continuing customer reviews.
