What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise (Travel Channel) featured Prince's Hot Chicken Shack, widely credited as an originator of Nashville-style hot fried chicken, in its 2013 episode "Fried Chicken Paradise" (S4E15, aired 2013). The restaurant operates from a Nolensville Pike location in Nashville, Tennessee. A 2026-09-08 check of the business's own website, princeshotchicken.com, showed the site live with a working online ordering system and current navigation for locations, menu, and catering. The site's navigation also referenced multiple Nashville-area locations, consistent with the chain's expansion beyond its original shop. No 2026-dated page text or copyright year was present on the site to further date the check, so the ordering system and current navigation stood as the strongest available signals from the business's own site as of the check date.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
