What happened after Food Paradise?

Food Paradise's "Deli Paradise" episode (S4E17, 2013) featured Carnegie Deli, spotlighting its towering pastrami and corned beef sandwiches piled high with meat. According to Wikipedia (revised 2026-07-15), the original Midtown Manhattan flagship, opened near Carnegie Hall in 1937, closed on December 31, 2016, after which a satellite outpost continued operating inside Madison Square Garden. Time Out reported on 2026-08-19 that the Carnegie Deli brand had posted on social media teasing a return to Midtown Manhattan, citing CBS New York on a planned reopening later in 2026, though no opening date had been announced. Neither article addressed whether the Madison Square Garden outpost was still running, and the outpost's own web page returned an error when checked on 2026-09-08, leaving its current status unclear.
