What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's "Egg-Streme Eats" episode (S11E11) featured Carrollton Market, spotlighting egg dishes as part of the show's tour of outsized egg creations at restaurants around the country. Carrollton Market operated as a full-service restaurant at 8132 Hampson Street in the Riverbend area of Uptown New Orleans, near Carrollton Avenue. Since the episode aired, Google Places lists the business's status as permanently closed, according to a listing checked on 2026-09-07. No active website or social media account for the restaurant could be found at the time of this check, and no dated news source describing a closure was located.
The Places listing does not carry a specific closure date or reason, so only the current status, not the timing or circumstances of any closure, is established here. Its former Uptown storefront address remains the best-known location on record for the business.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
