What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's "Egg-Streme Eats" episode (S11E11) featured Egg Shop, a restaurant built around all-day egg-centric dishes, as one stop in the show's survey of ambitious egg creations. Egg Shop operated at 151 Elizabeth Street in Manhattan's Nolita neighborhood. Since the episode aired, Google Places lists the business's status as permanently closed, according to a listing checked on 2026-09-07. A direct check of the restaurant's own website, eggshopnyc.com, on 2026-09-08 returned no server response and an empty page title, consistent with the site no longer being maintained. No dated news source describing the closure was located. Neither the Places listing nor the dead website carries a specific closure date, so only the current status, not the timing of any closure, is established by this evidence.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
