What Happened to Celebrities Sports Grill After Bar Rescue? (Yucaipa, CA)

Celebrities Sports Grill in Yucaipa, California, appeared on "Bar Rescue" in the episode "Antisocial Media," which examined a sports bar losing ground to competitors partly because of poor social-media engagement and an outdated approach to reaching a younger sports-bar crowd. Beyond the marketing problems named in the title, the episode also addressed inconsistent food and drink execution and staffing issues typical of the show's rescues. Jon Taffer's team overhauled the bar's marketing approach, updated its menu, and renamed the business The Victory Bar to give it a fresh identity separate from other Celebrities-branded locations in the region.

The Yucaipa location was one of at least two Celebrities Sports Grill bars run by the same family in the area, with a separate location in nearby San Bernardino operating independently of the one featured on the show; that distinction matters because only the Yucaipa bar went through the "Bar Rescue" rebrand. The Victory Bar's turnaround was short-lived. Filming for the episode took place in April 2016, months before it aired that September, and the bar did not stay open long after Taffer's visit. According to Reality TV Updates, the bar closed around June 2016, only weeks after the rebrand, and the location has not reopened under either the Victory Bar or Celebrities name since.

Yelp's listing for the address at 12013 5th Street, last updated in September 2026, still shows it marked closed, with 139 reviews accumulated across the venue's history and no indication of a new tenant. Combined with the name change never taking hold long-term, the Yucaipa Celebrities Sports Grill / Victory Bar location appears to have remained shuttered for roughly a decade after its television appearance, even as the separately owned San Bernardino Celebrities Sports Grill continued operating under the original brand.
