What happened after Bar Rescue?
City Bar, a Las Vegas gaming-and-cocktail lounge at 1000 East Sahara Avenue, was featured in the combined "Bar Rescue" episode "12 Beers a Slave/Whipped Into Shape" as part of Season 5. The episode depicted a bar struggling to compete on a stretch of Sahara Avenue against larger, better-known Las Vegas nightlife venues, with an outdated look and an unclear identity for a space that combined video-gaming terminals with a cocktail lounge. Jon Taffer's team redesigned the interior and renamed the business The Bradley, Gaming and Cocktail Lounge, aiming to give the gaming-lounge concept a sharper, more marketable identity within its Sahara Avenue location.
The rebrand did not hold for long. According to Bar Rescue Updates' account of the bar's own announcements at the time, ownership sold The Bradley to new operators within weeks of Taffer's on-site visit, before the episode had even aired, and the space was relaunched under yet another name and concept, Sahara Lounge. Neither successor business remains open today. Yelp listings for both The Bradley and Sahara Lounge, each tied to the 1000 East Sahara Avenue address and each last updated in July 2026, are marked closed.
Unconfirmed later reporting has suggested the space more recently housed a venue called Club Ego, though no dated, corroborating second source for that specific claim was found during this research, so it is noted here only as an open question rather than a confirmed current occupant. What is clear from the dated Yelp record is that the gaming-lounge concept "Bar Rescue" installed in 2016 did not last past its first year, and the address has cycled through at least one further concept in the years since. The 1000 East Sahara Avenue corridor remains a dense stretch of Las Vegas nightlife venues, and as of September 2026 no current business name could be confirmed as operating at that specific address, leaving the space's present status an open question alongside its confirmed run of short-lived concepts.
