City Bar, a Las Vegas gaming-and-cocktail lounge at 1000 East Sahara Avenue, was featured in the combined "Bar Rescue" episode "12 Beers a Slave/Whipped Into Shape" as part of Season 5. The episode depicted a bar struggling to compete on a stretch of Sahara Avenue against larger, better-known Las Vegas nightlife venues, with an outdated look and an unclear identity for a space that combined video-gaming terminals with a cocktail lounge. Jon Taffer's team redesigned the interior and renamed the business The Bradley, Gaming and Cocktail Lounge, aiming to give the gaming-lounge concept a sharper, more marketable identity within its Sahara Avenue location.
The rebrand did not hold for long. According to Bar Rescue Updates' account of the bar's own announcements at the time, ownership sold The Bradley to new operators within weeks of Taffer's on-site visit, before the episode had even aired, and the space was relaunched under yet another name and concept, Sahara Lounge.
