What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's 'BBQ Paradise 3' episode featured Central BBQ, a barbecue restaurant in downtown Memphis, Tennessee, for its smoked meats and Memphis-style sides. The downtown location sits on East Butler Avenue near the National Civil Rights Museum and is one of several Central BBQ locations across the Memphis area, popular with visitors to nearby Beale Street. According to the restaurant's website, eatcbq.com, a September 2026 check of the site listed daily hours of 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., a 2026 copyright notice, and options for online ordering and shipping. The site also listed sister locations in Fayetteville, Midtown Memphis, and on Poplar and Summer Avenues, indicating the downtown restaurant continues operating as part of an active multi-location chain, with no indication of closure or relocation found.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
