What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited South of Beale, a restaurant in the South Main Historic District of Memphis, Tennessee, for the episode 'Flavortown Medley,' which aired 2012-10-01. South of Beale operates at 345 South Main Street and describes itself with the tagline 'eat and sip adventurously,' offering a main menu, weekend brunch, and a wine, cocktail, and beer program. A check of the restaurant's website, southofbeale.com, on 2026-09-08 found a 2026 copyright notice, posted hours, and active reservation links, returning a normal HTTP response. The same website now lists reservation options for East Memphis, Downtown, and Collierville locations in addition to the original South Main address, indicating the business has expanded beyond its original single location. No independent news source was consulted, so the finding relies on the business's own website.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
