What happened after Man v. Food?

The Deadwood episode's Cheyenne Crossing stop had Casey Webb trying the Fry Bread Taco at the Stage Stop Cafe, the eatery housed inside the Cheyenne Crossing store. Cheyenne Crossing sits along U.S. Highway 14A in Spearfish Canyon, outside Lead, South Dakota, on a site with stagecoach-era roots dating to 1878. The property combines a small store, gas pump, and a handful of overnight rooms with the cafe. The episode aired March 10, 2020, as part of a look at Black Hills-area Old West food traditions.

Since then, Cheyenne Crossing has continued operating; Yelp's listing is current to August 2026 with posted Thursday-through-Sunday hours, and Tripadvisor's 2026-updated area restaurant list still includes it as an active business. The original listing names the location as Deadwood, but the store's address places it in Lead, the neighboring town in Spearfish Canyon.
