What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?
Chick'nCone is a fried-chicken concept known for serving chicken tenders in a hand-held waffle cone, which began as a New York City food truck before expanding to storefronts. Best Thing I Ever Ate featured the waffle-cone chicken format in the episode "One of a Kind" (Season 9, Episode 17). According to Roaming Hunger, Chick'nCone grew from its original truck into permanent New York City retail spots, including a stall in the Turnstyle Underground Market near Columbus Circle. According to Harlem One Stop, the brand also ran a storefront at 370 Malcolm X Boulevard in Harlem. Every New York City location found for the brand, including the Columbus Circle stall at 1000 8th Avenue tied to the episode, is now marked closed on Yelp, and an MTA guide to the Turnstyle market published May 3, 2024 no longer lists Chick'nCone among its vendors.
