What happened after Food Paradise?
The episode Classic Combos featured Boulevard Bistro, a soul food restaurant in Harlem known on air as BLVD Bistro. The business describes itself on its own website as an American soul food restaurant offering Southern classics, drinks, and a happy hour, and it is located in Central Harlem at 2149 Frederick Douglass Blvd (the site listing gives New York as the city; the episode described the neighborhood as Harlem). A September 9, 2026 check of boulevardbistrony.com found the site live with current weekly hours for Thursday through Sunday and an active online ordering and reservation system, according to BLVD Bistro's own website.
Google Places lists the business as operational at the same address. The site also promotes catering, private parties, gift cards, and a loyalty club, according to its navigation menu. No news coverage or third-party listing beyond Google Places was found describing a closure, relocation, or ownership change for the Harlem address.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
