The restaurant, first featured on the show in 2008, is known for a menu with more than 90,000 mix-and-match combinations, per Phoenix New Times.

Part 2 — Season 3, Episode 5 Aired

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives has featured Chino Bandido more than once for its Chinese-Mexican-Jamaican fusion menu, including dishes like jade red chicken served in a quesadilla. The restaurant was founded in 1990 by Eve and Frank Collins and built a cult following from its original hole-in-the-wall spot on North 19th Avenue in Phoenix. AZ Big Media reported on 2021-03-31 that co-owner Eve Collins was moving the restaurant to a new 6,000-square-foot building at 310 West Bell Road, keeping the same menu and the restaurant's 7,500-pound black granite bear mascot, Pancho.
