Current status

Open

As of October 2026, Colossal Café is listed open on colossalcafe.com, reviewed by our team on September 7, 2026; not yet independently confirmed through direct contact.

What the source shows: The business's own website, checked 2026-09-08, returned HTTP 200 with an active online ordering and catering system and listed two current locations (Como Avenue and Grand Avenue), consistent with an operating business, though the located Como Avenue address is in Saint Paul rather than the Minneapolis city listed for the original episode. What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Colossal Café appeared on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in the episode "Sandwiches Plus," which aired on 2010-12-18, when Guy Fieri visited the Minneapolis-area café for the segment. The café describes itself on its own site as a made-from-scratch operation serving breakfast, lunch, bakery items, and coffee. According to the business's website, checked 2026-09-08, the operation currently lists two locations, a Como Avenue address and a Grand Avenue address, with a working online-ordering and catering system on the same page; the Como Avenue address places the business in Saint Paul, Minnesota, rather than the Minneapolis address associated with the original episode. Because no dated, named source was checked to establish when or whether the business moved or added locations, no relocation is asserted here; the current Como Avenue location and its live ordering system are reported simply as the present-day, working business address.
