What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Metro 29 Diner appeared on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives in the episode "Sweet 'n Savory," which aired on 2010-11-26, when Guy Fieri visited the Arlington, Virginia diner as part of the show's tour of casual American eateries. The restaurant sits at 4711 Langston Boulevard, a street formerly known as Lee Highway, a name that still appears in the site's page title, in Arlington. According to the diner's own website, checked 2026-09-08, the business posted a notice that beginning July 6, 2026 its daily hours would change to 6:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., with the full menu remaining available and an online ordering link active on the same page. That July 2026 hours announcement, paired with the working ordering system, shows the diner operating under continuous, current management as of the check date.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
