Dale 1891 was a Tampa, Florida gastropub named for its address on North Dale Mabry Highway. In the episode "Paradise Lost," Jon Taffer's team found a business partnership falling apart: the show depicted an owner discovering a business partner diverting cash from the register, creating open hostility between the partners in front of staff and customers. The conflict had left service inconsistent, and the bar's identity as a generic gastropub gave customers little reason to choose it over competitors along the same commercial strip.

The rescue team overhauled the concept entirely, moving away from the gastropub format toward a tropical, beach-themed bar.
