What happened after Food Paradise?

The episode "Weiner Takes All" featured Dat Dog's Frenchmen Street location, known for oversized specialty hot dogs like the Datzilla — a triple-sausage dog piled with andouille sauce, fries, cheese, chili, onions, tomatoes, guacamole and jalapenos. Dat Dog is a hot dog restaurant that began in a small Freret Street shack in 2011 before adding locations across New Orleans, including this Frenchmen Street spot in the Faubourg Marigny neighborhood, recognized for its street-facing balcony. Dat Dog's own website returned an access-blocked error when checked on 2026-09-09, but Yelp's listing for the location, updated July 2026, showed continuing customer reviews, and Google Places listed the business as operational. No closure, relocation, or ownership-change announcements turned up for the Frenchmen Street address.
