What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
On "Regional Recipes" (season 29, episode 8, aired 2018-12-14), Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Dignowity Meats, a butcher-style restaurant on East Houston Street in San Antonio, spotlighting a regional specialty meat dish. The restaurant's website, dignowitymeats.com, returned an HTTP 404 "not found" error when checked on 2026-09-08, indicating the site is no longer live. Google Places lists Dignowity Meats' business status as permanently closed, also checked 2026-09-08, with no fresher dated source found showing the restaurant still operating at the Houston Street address. A Wikipedia entry for the restaurant also flags it as closed, though that entry was not independently verified and is treated here only as a lead rather than a confirming source.
