What happened after Food Paradise?
On the ‘Spicy’ episode of Food Paradise, the show featured East Coast Grill, a seafood and barbecue restaurant in Cambridge, Massachusetts once known for its annual ‘Hell Night’ event built around extremely spicy dishes. According to Wikipedia (revised 2026-07-13), chef Chris Schlesinger opened the restaurant in 1985 in the Inman Square neighborhood, and staff over the years included Andy Husbands and Tony Maws. According to Wikipedia, the restaurant was sold in 2012 to James Lozano, executive chef Jason Herd, and general manager Robin Greenspan, and closed permanently in 2017.
Google Places listed the business as permanently closed as of 2026-09-09. A site check the same day found eastcoastgrill.net still resolving with HTTP 200, but the page now displays unrelated content about outdoor gear and product reviews rather than the restaurant's own material, indicating the domain has since been repurposed.
