What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited Edgewood Cafe in the "Pubs and Grub" episode (aired 2012-11-05), where chef John Walsh served littleneck clams over pasta with toast points and a Greek-style pastichio, a baked pasta layered with ground beef and béchamel. The BYOB restaurant, family-run in the Edgewood section of Cranston since 1948, blended classic American diner fare with Greek influences at 1864 Broad Street. Rhode Island Monthly Magazine had named Edgewood Cafe one of the state's best spots for BYOB dining, according to a description on VisitRhodeIsland.com.
