What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?
The episode titled 'Regional Favorites' spotlighted Olneyville New York System's hot wieners, the Rhode Island 'New York System' style: small griddled franks in steamed buns topped with a spiced meat sauce, yellow mustard, chopped onion, and celery salt, typically ordered 'all the way' and by the half-dozen. Olneyville New York System is a diner-style wiener stand in the Olneyville neighborhood of Providence, Rhode Island, one of several shops carrying on the city's longstanding New York System tradition. In September 2026 the business's official website, olneyvillenewyorksystem.com, listed a current address, phone number, and menu for the Providence location, according to the site. The website also advertised nationwide shipping of its wieners and sauce for customers ordering from outside Rhode Island, according to olneyvillenewyorksystem.com.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
