What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Eischen's Bar in "You Picked 'Em" (S7E6), which aired September 7, 2009, spotlighting the bar's fried chicken. Eischen's Bar, often called Oklahoma's oldest bar, was built by Peter Eischen in Okarche in 1896 and reopened in its current building in 1993 after a fire, according to the business's own website. A Yelp listing for the business, updated August 2026, lists Eischen's Bar as open at 109 South 2nd Street. The bar's own website separately lists current hours of 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, closed Sunday, at the same address, with a footer copyright notice reading "2026-2027." Together, the two sources indicate the bar remains open at its historic Okarche location.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
