What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured The Factory Gastrobar in Long Beach, California, in August 2014, highlighting the gastrobar's craft beer list and pub-style small plates, according to a fan site devoted to the show's restaurants. The Factory Gastrobar operated at 4020 Atlantic Avenue as a craft-beer-forward gastropub. A restaurant-tracking fan site, Triple D Life, listed The Factory Gastrobar as permanently closed as of 2020, without giving an exact month or day. A separate visitor comment on the flavortownusa.com location page, dated 2017, described the business as already closed "as of last year," suggesting an earlier closure date that has not been reconciled with the 2020 figure. This record's address and coordinates come from a Census Bureau geocode of the address found in a single web search, since the standard location lookup did not return a match.
