What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Cannery Row Brewing Company in Monterey, California, highlighting the brewery's Parmesan pretzel with beer cheese dip and its short rib grilled cheese. Cannery Row Brewing Company was a beer-focused restaurant on Cannery Row that opened in 2009 inside a converted sardine-reduction plant and grew to offer more than 70 taps. Monterey County Now reported on 2019-11-11 that the business closed abruptly as its ten-year lease expired and the building needed ADA-required elevator repairs the owners could not afford at the time.

According to Monterey County Now, Bernahl said a reopening remained possible if new investment emerged, but no reopening has been confirmed since.
