What happened after Food Paradise?

The episode featured Darrow's New Orleans Grill for its Cajun-style menu, showcasing Louisiana staples such as gumbo, po' boy sandwiches, and bayou-inspired plate specials. The restaurant is a Cajun food counter operating out of a storefront on Avalon Boulevard in Carson, California, rather than in Los Angeles proper as the show identified it. According to the restaurant's own website, checked on 2026-09-08, the site currently displays 2026 copyright dates, a working online-ordering system, and posted hours showing Sunday service from noon to 6:45 p.m. with the restaurant closed Monday and Tuesday. Google Places also lists the business as operational as of the same date. The current menu, per the website, includes lagniappe specials, seven po' boy varieties, gumbo, plate specials, desserts, sides, and a bayou breakfast bowl.
