What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives (Food Network) visited Flakowitz of Boynton Bakery & Deli for the episode "Biscuits, Bagels and BLTs," which aired 2009-05-04 and highlighted the deli's hand-sliced corned beef, pastrami, and turkey alongside house-baked bagels and hand-sliced nova and lox. The Boynton Beach deli has operated from a shopping-center storefront on West Boynton Beach Boulevard for more than two decades and later added a second location, the Bagel Inn, in Boca Raton. Flakowitz.com listed both locations serving breakfast and lunch daily, with dinner service at the Boynton Beach store, and showed online ordering active through Toast as of 2026-09-08.

Yelp listed the Boynton Beach location with 838 reviews and 678 photos, with the listing updated into September 2026. The business's site describes decades of continuous operation at both South Florida locations and notes two appearances on Guy Fieri's Food Network programs.
