What happened after Food Paradise?
In the "Pizza Playoffs" episode, Frank and Helen's Pizzeria's pizza was featured. Frank and Helen's was a pizzeria in University City, Missouri, that also served broasted chicken; its website described the business as serving the area "Since 1956." According to KSDK, the restaurant was set to close in December 2024 after the lease on its Olive Boulevard building ended, a plan Fox2Now also reported the same month. Google Places now lists Frank and Helen's as permanently closed, and a September 8, 2026 check found its website (frankandhelens.com) unreachable. A Yelp listing for the address, marked "CLOSED," was updated in July 2026, consistent with the earlier news reports. St. Louis Magazine's coverage of the closing noted the restaurant had served the University City community for nearly 70 years.
