What happened after Food Paradise?
Food Paradise's 'Ooey Gooey Greatness' episode featured Gadzooks Enchiladas & Soup, a Mexican restaurant in Phoenix, Arizona built around customizable, cheese-smothered enchiladas. Its own website's title, 'Customizable Mexican Food - Enchiladas, Tacos, Nachos, and Beyond,' describes a build-your-own approach where diners choose fillings, sauces, and toppings for enchiladas as well as tacos and nachos. A site check on 2026-09-08 found the website returning an HTTP 200 response with a last-modified header timestamped the same day, along with a working online ordering system for pickup and delivery.
The restaurant sits on North 7th Street, a stretch of central Phoenix known for independent restaurants, and Google Places listed the business as operational during the same check. The name also nods to a rotating soup menu served alongside the enchiladas, according to the restaurant's own site.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
