What happened after Mystery Diners?
In the Mystery Diners episode "Cabin Fever" (aired 2015-04-15), Gateway Restaurant and Lodge owners Glenn and Susan McIntyre told investigator Charles Stiles they had received complaints about unauthorized parties inside vacant guest cabins and noticed cash and alcohol sales coming up short. According to the Sun-Gazette, Stiles's crew arrived in Three Rivers, California, on January 3, 2015, to place hidden cameras in the restaurant, bar, kitchen, storage rooms, and a cabin, and filmed over the following two days. As is the format of the series, Stiles reviewed the footage with the McIntyres afterward and discussed changes to cabin-access and cash-handling procedures.
Wikipedia's article on Mystery Diners, citing the program's own end-of-episode disclaimer and a critic's review, notes that certain scenes are staged or re-enacted for dramatic effect and that the series has been criticized for implausible scenarios and unconvincing acting. A site check of gateway-sequoia.com on 2026-09-09 returned an HTTP 200 response for a page carrying a 2026 copyright notice and listing the property's phone number and its address at 45978 Sierra Dr, Three Rivers, alongside lodging, dining, and event information. A Google Places record for the address separately lists the business as operating.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
