What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited KC Steakhouse in Bakersfield, California for the episode 'From Atlantic to Pacific' (aired 2015-03-06), where Guy Fieri dug into Stuffed Pork Chops and Lobster Mac & Cheese. Open since 1939, the steakhouse serves down-home classics like Chicken Piccata alongside its retro dining-room atmosphere. Yelp's listing for the restaurant is tagged 'Updated September 2026' with 431 reviews and still shows it operating at 2515 F Street, and the Visit Bakersfield tourism directory, checked 2026-09-08, lists the same address with no indication of closure. Local listings now render the name as 'KC Steak House' rather than the one-word 'KC Steakhouse' credited on the show, though the address, phone number and menu match.
