What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives visited this Bakersfield Greek cafe and bakery on "To Bakersfield and Beyond" (aired 2015-04-24), where Guy Fieri sampled cabbage lahanodolmades, a stuffed-cabbage dish, and braised beef served over pasta, according to Flavortown USA's episode recap. The business is a family-run Greek cafe and bakery offering counter-service Mediterranean plates alongside house-made pastries. According to the restaurant's own website, athenasgreekcafe.com, the business operates from 1901 20th Street in downtown Bakersfield, lists hours of Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and runs an active online ordering system through eHungry.

The site now brands the business simply as Athena's Greek Cafe, dropping the "& Bakery" that appeared in its name at the time of the broadcast. The downtown location also takes catering and large-party orders. No independent news coverage of the business's current status was located beyond its own website.
