What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?
On "Ice Creamy", Girl & The Goat featured chef Stephanie Izard's globally inspired small-plates menu, built around wood-fired and shareable cooking at the restaurant's West Randolph Street location in Chicago's West Loop. Signature dishes at the restaurant have included wood-oven-roasted pig face and goat empanadas, dishes widely associated with Izard's menu. Izard, a Top Chef winner, opened the restaurant in 2010 as the flagship of what has since grown into the Boka Restaurant Group's broader portfolio. According to the restaurant's own website (girlandthegoat.com), a 2026-09-08 check found a server last-modified date of 2026-09-03 and a 2026 copyright notice reading "Boka Restaurant Group, LLC," and the site listed both the Chicago and a Los Angeles location under Izard's name. No closure, ownership change, or relocation notice appeared on the site at that check.
