What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?

On "Ice Creamy", Ice Cream Smuggler featured its housemade ice cream alongside the shop's cakes and pies, part of the seasonal soft-serve-and-scoop stand tradition on Cape Cod's Route 6A corridor. The business operates out of South Dennis, Massachusetts, on the same stretch of Route 6A referenced in the episode's Dennis, MA billing. That corridor, running through South Dennis and neighboring Cape Cod towns, is home to a cluster of seasonal ice cream stands that typically run spring through fall and close for the winter off-season.

According to the business's own website (icecreamsmuggler.com), checked 2026-09-08, the shop advertised its "48th season" opening that spring and offered an active online ordering system alongside pages for cakes and pies, reviews and media, and employment. The site's seasonal-opening language and working order system were the only current, dated signals available; no separate closure, sale, or relocation notice was found.
