As of October 2026, Holy Land is listed open on Yelp, reviewed by our team on September 7, 2026; not yet independently confirmed through direct contact.

What the source shows: A Yelp listing updated in July 2026 shows Holy Land at 2513 Central Ave NE active with current reviews and 2026 hours, correcting the stale 2020-dated content found on the business's own website during the initial site check. How we decide a status →

What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Holy Land's Middle Eastern and Mediterranean specialties, including hummus, gyros, and Persian kebabs, on the 2016 episode "Global Greats." The business, a bakery, grocery, and restaurant-deli combination, operates in the Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood at 2513 Central Ave NE. A 2026-09-08 check of the business's own website found stale content with no dates newer than 2020, but a Yelp listing updated in July 2026 shows the location active, with 2026 hours listed as 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily. Google Places also lists the business as operational. Holy Land also operates a separate Midtown location at 920 E Lake St, which a Yelp listing updated in April 2026 marks as permanently closed; that location is unrelated to the Central Avenue store.
