What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Miso Phat's fresh sushi rolls and Hawaiian-influenced seafood dishes on the 2016 episode "Global Greats," when the restaurant operated as Miso Phat Sushi in Kihei, Maui. According to the business's own website, Miso Phat has since relocated from its original Azeka Place location to a new oceanfront home inside the Maui Coast Hotel at 2239 S Kihei Rd, now operating under the name Miso Phat Coast. The website, current as of a 2026-09-08 check, lists a 2025 copyright, posted daily hours of noon to 9 p.m., and a working online ordering system. Google Places lists the business as operational at the new Kihei Road address. The site describes the new location as carrying forward the sushi style of the original Azeka spot, with views near Kamaole Beach.
