What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featured Psycho Suzie's Motor Lounge in the "Viewer's Choice" episode, which aired 2007-10-29. Psycho Suzi's was a tiki-themed bar and lounge on the Mississippi River in Northeast Minneapolis, Minnesota, known for its Polynesian-style decor, pizzas, and tropical drinks; it opened in 2003 and moved to its waterfront address in 2010. The Star Tribune reported on 2023-08-03 that owner Leslie Bock announced on Facebook that the bar would close on 2023-08-19 after 20 years, writing, "this Psycho Suzi is ready to hang it up."
The building itself was built in 1968 and had previously housed an A&W restaurant, according to the same Star Tribune report. A Yelp business listing, updated 2026-07, continues to mark the location as closed. Wikipedia separately flagged the business as closed, though that entry was treated only as a lead, not a source,.
