What happened after Food Paradise?
The episode featured I Dream of Weenie's gourmet hot dogs, served from a permanently parked, converted Volkswagen Bus that doubles as the walk-up counter. I Dream of Weenie operates as a hot dog stand on 11th Street in Nashville's East Nashville neighborhood. According to Wikipedia, the Volkswagen Bus, also called the Volkswagen Van, is a vehicle type produced by Volkswagen and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles across several notable generations, making the stand's centerpiece a piece of automotive history as much as a kitchen. The business's own website, checked on 2026-09-09, listed current weekly hours and an active online ordering system, and it also promotes catering for birthdays, corporate events, rehearsal dinners, and other private gatherings, encouraging customers to follow its social media for updates.

We work hard to keep every status accurate and dated, but restaurants change fast and our sources aren't perfect. If something here is wrong — a status, a name, an address, anything — tell us what you're seeing and where you saw it, and we'll check it.
