What happened after Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives?
On Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives ("Soup & Sandwiches," aired 2011-03-07), Guy Fieri visited what is now called Steer In in Indianapolis, Indiana, trying the Stuffed Pizza, Fresh Meatball Sandwiches, and a Beef and Noodles entree, according to a Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives fan site. The diner opened in 1960 as Laughner's Steer In, was known as Harold's Steer In from 1964 to 2007 under owner Harold Phillips, and was later renamed by the Kehrer family, who now run the business. A live check of the restaurant's own site, steerin.net, on 2026-09-08 found current posted hours, an online ordering link, and a note about beer and wine now being available, with no indication of closure. The site also listed dine-in and carry-out service and a direct email contact for the diner's east-side Indianapolis location.
