What happened after Food Paradise?

The episode featured the Free Range food truck's fried-chicken menu built around tempura-battered chicken sandwiches and a hot honey fried chicken and biscuit, prepared by owner Jesse Furman, credited on the show as Jesse Ferman, a native New Yorker who ran the truck around Los Angeles. According to Yelp, the Los Angeles food-truck listing for Free Range is marked closed, with the page updated in September 2026. The Google Places location our records returned for this record, a fixed address associated with a business called Less Mess Burger, does not match Free Range and was not used for this record's location fields.

An earlier OC Weekly report described Free Range expanding from its truck into a brick-and-mortar Free Range Cafe on Balboa Island, in Orange County, a different concept and city from the featured Los Angeles truck. No current Los Angeles address or website for the truck itself was found.
