What happened after Man v. Food?
Casey Webb sampled La Lechería's green chile ice cream during the Santa Fe episode, a local-flavor take the shop was known for pairing sweet cream with New Mexico's signature chile, according to the episode. At the time of filming, the ice cream shop operated from a location on West Marcy Street downtown; owner-chef Joel Coleman closed that location around September 25, 2022, and launched a food truck, according to the Santa Fe New Mexican. Coleman had already opened a new primary location on May 27, 2022, in the Market Station building at the Santa Fe Railyard, according to the same report. In July 2026, Yelp showed current customer reviews for the Railyard address, and the shop's Railyard listing described it as serving rotating flavors such as butterscotch miso and sweet corn alongside classic options.
