What happened after Best Thing I Ever Ate?
On Food Network's Best Thing I Ever Ate, in the 2011 episode "French Favorites," host Alton Brown singled out Le Pichet's raclette savoyarde, a dish of melted raclette cheese poured over potatoes and charcuterie. Le Pichet is a French bistro on 1st Avenue in downtown Seattle, a few blocks from Pike Place Market, with a menu of classic bistro dishes such as moules frites and roast chicken for two. According to the restaurant's own website, checked on 2026-09-08, Le Pichet lists current 2026 hours — Sunday through Wednesday 10am to 9pm, Thursday through Saturday 10am to 10pm — a phone line for reservations, and an active gift-card ordering system at 1933 1st Avenue. The same website also advertises Le Pichet's Casse Croute, Dejeuner, and Diner menus, the same three-part French bistro format the restaurant used when the episode aired in 2011.
