According to Les Madeleines' own website, the shop closed its cafe and bakery location on December 30, 2022, after 19 years in business; the same announcement thanks customers for their support over that period. A Yelp business listing for the address, updated in September 2026, marks the business closed. The website says some Les Madeleines products have since been available through Romina Rasmussen's Chez Nibs venture and at The Neighborhood Hive in Sugar House, and kouign-amann pastries have been shipped nationally through Goldbelly.com.
