What Happened to Lexington Grille & Pub After Restaurant Stakeout?

For the second episode of Restaurant Stakeout, "Party All the Time," which aired March 14, 2012, Willie Degel's crew set up hidden cameras at Lexington Grille & Pub in Bardonia, New York, one of three Rockland County restaurants the show visited in its first weeks on the air. As with the rest of the series, cameras were meant to catch unsupervised staff behavior so Degel could confront the team with the footage and push through changes to service and management. Local coverage of these Rockland County episodes complicated that premise: owner Mike Solicito told The Journal News in March 2012 that "none of it's real," and neighboring restaurant owners featured in the same batch of episodes described producers scripting confrontations and coaching extras, including a family member used as a plant customer.

Wikipedia's article on Restaurant Stakeout describes the series as staged, citing a 2012 realityblurred.com report that documented this and similar producer-directed incidents at the show's featured restaurants. Lexington Grille & Pub still appears under its original name and address in current restaurant directories and maintains an active Facebook page, though its delivery listing on DoorDash currently shows as inactive with its online menu marked closed. No dated 2026 review, post, or news mention confirming current operating hours could be located, and the available signals point in different directions.
